Role: DANCOP Project Officer

Salary:£19,674 per annum, pro rata where applicable

Accountable to:DANCOP Project Manager

Core responsibilities:

•Work with the Project Manager and other consortium partners to design and manage recruitment activity in-line with the NCOP agenda.

•Deliver and/or facilitate the delivery of DANCOP outreach activities and services such as information sessions and talks, assemblies, taster days, summer schools and workshops to young people, staff and parents.

•Develop and maintain relationships withschools across Nottingham/shire as part of the DANCOP programme.

•Facilitate the engagement of schools and colleges in your designated area(s) with DANCOP activities and services, seeking to ensure that DANCOP resources are applied equitably and as part of a cohesive package.

•Work closely with the college’s school liaison team to ensure that delivery is in-line with the college’s schools liaison strategy.

•Act as a point of contact for education providers and third party deliverers in your designated area(s); dealing with enquiries and solving problems as required.

•Ensure all relevant reporting for the projectis kept up to date.

•Keep up to date with the national widening participation and NCOP agendas, implementing developments as appropriate.

•Represent the DANCOP network externally where appropriate, and disseminate information to other stakeholders as necessary.

•Develop and manage excellent working relationships with DANCOP stakeholders across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, which will involve travelling independently.

•Other responsibilities commensurate with the level of the role.

Other Responsibilities:

•To keep up to date, so far as necessary, for the efficient executing of the job, with new legislation, procedures and techniques and attend relevant mandatory training.

•To present and promote an appropriate public image in representing the college and DANCOP.

•To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required commensurate with the post.
