2010 ride to benefit Hanna Cimo. Hanna is a 16-year old girl from Johnstown

who suffers from ulcerative colitis and ITP blood disease.

She is a sophomore at Johnstown High School and she loves dancing as a hobby.

Held at the Ohmer Mountain Club Inc.

Start time – 10:00 a.m. We will ride until noon, break and have a light snack that you bring. Then meet back at the Assembly Area around 3:00-3:30pm. Where we’ll have a Pig Roast dinner (please bring a dish to share) and we’ll have hamburgers & hotdogs.

$15.00 donation (kids under 16 free). All proceeds donated to benefit Hanna Cimo

The Ride – we’ll break into different groups depending on the speed and condition of the horses. There may be horse/mule drawn wagons and buggies available for those on foot. The trails are well maintained with sand/gravel logging roads, varying between level and various grades.

Directions:

  • Start from the corner of State Route 29 and State Route 30 at Vails Mills
  • Take Route 30 N towards Mayfield and go around the bend
  • Go straight towards Broadalbin which is County Route 155 (do not take Rt. 30 A)
  • Go through the village of Broadalbin on Main Street. before churches, bear right onto North Street which becomes County Rt 110
  • Travel County Rt 110 and go past the advertising sign for Springer’s, which turns into Saratoga County Route 7(5.1 M) and travel another 7.4 miles to the BatchellervilleBridge
  • Take a left on the bridge which is Saratoga County Route 98
  • Cross the bridge and travel to the top of the hill to the Edinburg 4-corners
  • Fuller Store is on the right and the diner is on the opposite corner
  • Those interested can meet here for breakfast between 7am-9am (large parking area across the road from the diner)
  • At the 4 corners you’ll take a right on Route 4
  • Go .4 miles and bear left on Military Road and follow airport sign
  • Go up the hill and go past airport sign and stay on Military Road
  • Travel 5 miles and then bear left on Sand Lake Road
  • Go 1.5 miles to orange gate – entrance to Ohmer Mountain Club
