LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.9

Oh, would to God the church were cold or hot. Best of all, she should be fervent (hot). But she is not. Sentence has been passed. She is no longer God's voice to the world. She will maintain that she is, but God says not.

341-2 LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.9

Oh, God still has a voice for the people of the world, even as He has given a voice to the bride. That voice is in the bride as we have said and we will talk more about that later.

Notice the harmony of the Father and the Son. Jesus never did anything until it was first showed Him by the Father. John 5:19. This harmony is now to exist between the Groom and His bride. He shows her His Word of life. She receives it. She never doubts it. Therefore, nothing can harm her, not even death. For if the seed be planted, the water will raise it up again. Here is the secret of this. The Word is in the bride (as it was in Mary). The bride has the mind of Christ for she knows what He wants done with the Word. She performs the command of the Word in His name for she has "thus saith the Lord." Then the Word is quickened by the Spirit and it comes to pass. Like a seed that is planted and watered, it comes to full harvest, serving its purpose.

172-3 PERGAMEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.5

Those in the bride do only His will. No one can make them do otherwise. They have 'thus saith the Lord' or they keep still. They know that it has to be God in them doing the works, fulfilling His own Word. He did not complete all His work while in His earthly ministry so now He works in and through the bride.

She knows that, for it was not yet time for Him to do certain things that He must now do. But He will now fulfill through the bride that work which He left for this specific time.

THIS IS WHEN HE COMES AS LEO THE LION, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

NOT SON OF DAVID, THIS IS WHEN HE CLAIMS HIS BRIDE WITH THE BOOK OF REDEMPTION IN HIS HAND.

THIS IS WHERE THE BRIDE AND CHRIST BECOMES ONE AND HE GIVES HER THE BOOK.

THIS IS AFTER THE SEALS ARE MADE KNOWN.

THIS IS HIS COMING IN THE BRIDE.

65-0725E WHAT.IS.THE.ATTRACTION.ON.THE.MOUNTAIN

100 Let us turn over to another Scripture in the Old Testament, Malachi the 4th chapter, and read that little 4th chapter.

... behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea,... all that do wickedly, shall be as stubbles:...

101 Now, this is not... That's Malachi 3, was the first coming, now here is the next coming. Even the Doctor Scofield here, I certainly don't agree with him in his footnotes, but he's got it lined out here right. "The commission of John," to Malachi 3; and, "The second Coming of Christ," and Elijah beforehands. All right.

... all the proud shall burn up, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall leave them neither root nor branch. (Where's the "Eternal" hell then?)

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness rise with healing campaigns, healing in his wings;... you shall go forth, and grow up; as calves of the stall.

And you shall tread down the wicked;... they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in that day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

Remember... the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded... him in Horeb for all Israel,... the statutes and judgment.

102 Here is the coming of Elijah.

Behold, I will send to you Elijah the prophet...

103 The last closing Scripture of the Old Testament!

... I'll send to you Elijah the prophet before the coming of that great and dreadful day of the LORD:

104 Now, that couldn't a been John. No. See, the world wasn't burnt up and the righteous walked out on the wicked. See? No, no.

... before the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

And he shall turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

105 Notice the accuracy of the Holy Spirit, that It would not confuse them two comings of Elijah. Malachi 3, said, "Behold, I send My messenger before My face." Jesus was asked about John; He said, "If you can receive it, this is who the prophet said, 'I'll send My messenger before My face.' This is the Elias that was to come." Malachi 3.

106 Notice the Scripture so accurately gives it. Watch what this... to show the... them who wants to believe, them who wants to see. Remember, Jesus stopping in the middle of a Scripture, 'cause part of it was fulfilled then, the rest for His second Coming? "To preach the acceptable year of the Lord, bind up the brokenhearted," and stopped; not "bring judgment to the Gentile" until His second Coming.

107 Notice this Scripture here parallels that. "And he, Elijah, shall turn the hearts of the fathers to the children." (Now speaking of Malachi 4, not get it mixed, or Malachi 3.) John, Elijah, who came in the days before the first coming of Christ, turned the hearts of the old patriarch fathers to the message of the children, the new message.

108 Now watch. "And the hearts of the children to the fathers." In his second coming, in the last days, he turns back to the apostolic Faith again. See how perfect the Scriptures line up?

109 That was the end of the Old Testament, the Old Testament. Now we see there's Light in the evening time. What is It? It's the top, Mount Treetop.

65-0725M THE.ANOINTED.ONES.AT.THE.END.TIME

227 If I prophesied today that a certain thing would happen in a year from now, maybe I got--I got twenty percent chance for it to happen, whether it's right or wrong. And if I predicted that that would happen, and didn't say when, I got a smaller percent. If I predicted when it would happen, gives me a smaller margin. If I predicted the place it happened, it gives it still a smaller margin. If I predicted the... who it would be on, then I still got about one hundred thousandths of a margin it ever coming to pass, if it's not true.

And every Word, hallelujah, that was wrote of that Messiah, was fulfilled to the letter. Even till one day, reading the Scriptures, He stopped right in the middle of the sentence, and said, "The Spirit of God is upon Me to preach the Gospel, and deliver the..." And stopped right there in the middle of the sentence, because the rest of it's at His second Coming. Amen! "Heavens and earth will pass away; My Words shall not." See?

228 He was the Word then, that was feeding them then. Moses told them the Truth; but, you see, they always make a denomination out of it, for the vultures to...

There is some of It left after the eagles has done eat and gone home. Then they're waiting to see something else. "The Word," they say, "here It's supposed to come. We had caribou yesterday; we have sheep tomorrow." See what I mean? "There is old caribou carcase down there, gloating, but we got sheep coming today. Where's it at?" See what I mean? Angels' Food! The people that eat manna one day, if they tried to keep it over for the next day, it got contaminated. Don't you see all the types, how perfect? Same now!

36 Now, if you want to, if you want a reference to that, I've got it here, just a moment, if I maybe pick it up out of the marginal reading here. If you notice, that's also you'll find it over in Mark and different places, but in Isaiah 61:1 and 2. Now, isn't it strange that He stopped right there, and the very next verse... That was what was applied to His first coming. And the second, next verse, is applying to His Second Coming, at judgment. He stopped and closed the book. If any of you are reading a Scofield Bible, you'll find a footnote on it there. See? Watch your footnote, a mark to a footnote, see, and you'll notice there. "A comparison with the--the message quoted, in Isaiah 61:1 and 2, affords the instance of the..." Where, the Scripture here, preaching, Jesus was to preach the acceptable year of the Lord; and the next verse comes out with His Coming and judgment. See? And you see how He stopped right at that.

65-0125 THIS.DAY.THIS.SCRIPTURE.IS.FULFILLED

39 I remember, in Luke the 4th chapter, that Jesus entered the synagogue at Nazareth, where He was brought up at, as His custom was to go into the church on the... synagogue, on the Sabbath. And when He did, we notice there that the priest gave Him the Bible, the Scroll. Jesus, looking through the Scroll, found the certain place, Isaiah 61, and He read the Scripture. Then He handed the Bible back to the minister. And then as He turned to the audience, all eyes was upon Him. And He said:

... This day this Scripture is fulfilled...

40 And we know how peculiar that Scripture reading was, because He just took a portion of the 1st and 2nd verses, of Isaiah 61:1 and 2. But He read down this far, where, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, to bind up the brokenhearted, and to--to (give) heal the sick, and to open the blinded eyes, and to preach the acceptable year of the Lord," and then He stopped. For, the next was to bring judgment; that would apply to His Second Coming, not His first coming. And He stopped, and turned around, and said, "This day this Scripture is fulfilled." How direct that was!

41 And what a--what a--a statement it was to the teachers and to the people that were present, that He could make this plain to the people, "This day this Scripture is fulfilled." For here He was, the Messiah, yet they didn't believe it. Here He was, the anointed One for that hour. Every bit of His ministry, from His birth up, had proved to be what He was, and yet they could not believe it. What a statement! But He could say today...

42 And if a person opened up their eyes, they could have knew, known what day that they were living in, for that was His hour, for He was right there doing exactly what the Scriptures, all the prophets, had said would happen in that day. Here He was doing exactly what God had prophesied would happen! How did they miss seeing it? They should have known right quick, seeing what His ministry was. There is the Messiah. They would have known it, because He said, "The Scripture is fulfilled."

43 I think of today. And notice what that was as the--the priest gave the Word over. The Word was read, handed back to the priest. And the last quotation out of my text that I had, and my Scriptures wrote down, was Saint Luke 17:30, where, Jesus referring back to this day that we're living in, "rich, Laodicea Age," and yet rotten in politics, church politics and national politics, just as rotten as it could be. And then He said, "As it was in the days of Lot, so shall it be in the coming end time," notice what He said there, "in the day that the Son of man will be revealed."

44 See, "In the days that the Son of man will be revealed!" I want to draw your attention.

45 See, He came in three names. He came as Son of man, which was prophet. And that's what He did, He proved His ministry, by being a prophet. We all know that. Every one of us knows it. He never said He was the Son of God; He said He was the Son of man. Now, today, He is the Son of God, which He returned back, and now He is in the form of the Holy Ghost, the unseen Person; but yet, God, the Son of God. In the Millennium, He sits upon His Father's Throne, which He'll be Son of David. He revealed Himself first as Son of man, a prophet; this age, through the church age, Son of man... or Son of God; and in the other age, Son of David. Three sons!

46 But you notice here, He said, at the ending of the church age, it had got in such a mess till He would be revealed again as Son of man, "when the Son of man is being revealed." How appropriate was that mix-up yesterday! And I hope you don't miss it.

47 We have had the revelation of Son of God, but the last promise that Abraham had before the son was made... or brought into existence, the one that he had been promised; before the promised son showed up, God manifested Himself there at Sodom as a Prophet, being a Man, in flesh, God. Elohim, as I heard someone speak it a while ago, which the Godhead bodily was in Him. He was the fulness. Elohim is the fulness of the Godhead, bodily. And we notice there when Lot saw... When Abraham saw Him coming, he said, "my Lord." There was three of Them. And down in Sodom, Lot saw two, and said, "my lords," lack of revelation. So notice what taken place here, when He come up, how He made Hisself known.
