NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

Attention Seniors and Juniors

Applications are still available in the Student Affairs Office. Candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 90% to be considered for selection as a member of the Thomas E. Cahill Chapter of the National Honor Society.

If you have not already attended the MANDATORY informational NHS meeting, there will be a meeting held on Monday, October 3rd in Rm. 39 after 8th period.

WRESTLING

Work-outs, lifts and runs for the wrestling team will be heldon Monday,Tuesdayand Wednesdays in the Annex. If you're interested in joining the team, attend the work-outs and talk to Mr. Gault. If you're playing a Fall sport you can still wrestle once your Fall season is over.

OPEN GYM

EveryFridayfrom 3-4PM, there will be open gyms for basketball.

FATHER’S CLUB

The Roman Catholic Father’s Club invites theentireRoman Community for an afternoon of Paint Ball. Cost is $50 per person and will be held onSunday, November 13, at Crusader Paintball in Fairless Hills. Payment and wavers are due byOctober 1. FALL DATE DANCE

RCHS Fall Date Dance will take place on Saturday, October 8th. Information sheets and permission forms are available in the Student Affairs Office. Completed permission forms need to be approved in the Student Affairs Office before buying your tickets in the Financial Affairs Office. All tickets need to be purchased by the end of the day onWednesday, October 5th.

Attention Seniors, Juniors & Sophomores

If it has finally dawned on you that you may have lost a set of keys last school year, please come to Student Affairs to claim them. We have many keys; house, car, piano and Florida. This offer expires on Friday, September 30th at 2:41PM.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

The Alumni Association is asking for everyone's support for their Fall Clean Up Initiative at River Field on Saturday October 15from9am - 2pm. This is a perfect opportunity for students to accumulate some of their required service hours while devoting their time to a good cause. Permission forms and a signup sheet are available in the Student Affairs Office. Any student wishing to participate must bring their signed permission form with them on the day of the clean-up.

We're excited to announce that the 2016Roman Run5K (3.1 miles)will take place onOctober 9, 2016on the historic Boat House Row!

All proceeds benefit Roman Catholic students.

ASIAN ARTS INITIATIVE

Our annualPearlStreetBlock Partyis coming up onSaturday, October 8th.It's our biggest event of the year and we'll be hosting performers, activities, etc. On the day-of, we could use some volunteers (in two shifts:10am-2pmand2pm-6pm) to help.

  • Registration/Information
  • Stage Management
  • House Management
  • Tabling Management

*Volunteerswill get a free t-shirt and lunch will be provided. See Ms. Ann for information.

UNDERCLASSMEN YEARBOOK PORTRAITS

Underclassman yearbook portraits will be taken next week in the gym during all the lunch periods. Order forms and information were distributed in homerooms. Students are asked to bring these order forms and note containing information home and discuss with your parents/guardians. Please return your order form with themoney to the Lifetouch representative at the time yourportrait is taken.

Junior portraits will be taken on Monday, October 3.

Sophomore portraits will be taken on Tuesday, October 4.

Freshman portraits will be taken on Wednesday, October 5.

Students are reminded to ensure that your hair is neatlygroomed and that you are cleanly shaven. You will be required to have your portrait taken in your WINTER UNIFORM. Please rememberto wear shirt, tie, and sweater on theday that your portraits are scheduled.
