Introduction
The Peak District National Park Authority is drawing up an approved list of experienced suppliers to carry out design services on a project by project basis over the next 6 months.
This will complement the work of our in house design team and provide support at busy times to the work of the Peak District National Park and the Moors for the Future Partnership.
- Approved List
- The object of the approved list is to supply the Peak District National Park Authority with several different services, these may include;
- graphic design of printed materials such as reports, leaflets, flyers and other publications
- graphic design of banners posters and other promotional items
- Printing of the above items
- Production of digital publications
- Design of templates, such as newsletters, stationary, PowerPoint presentations.
- This is an invitation to express an interest in supplying the Peak District National Park Authority with these services. Please fill in a cost for providing the services you are interested in.
- Nature of contracts
- Approved List Criteria
The Authority shall evaluate Expressions of Interests received on the following criteria:
1.1.Evidence of ability to carry out the works in the form of:
1.1.1.Relevant qualifications;
1.1.2.Relevant experience;
1.2. Past performance;
1.3.An assessment of creative design skills;
1.4.Ability to work within existing branding and house style guidelines;
1.5.Ability to offer full service for printed and digital materials;
1.6.Provision of specified rates;
1.7.Evidence of an insurance policy in force with reputable insurers in respect of the Consultants liabilities:
1.7.1.To the employees of the Consultant (if applicable),
1.7.2.To the public and any other person
in the sum of at least £2,000,000 (TWO MILLION POUNDS) in respect of any single claim required)
and
1.7.3.Professional Indemnity insurance in the sum of at least £1,000,000 (ONE MILLION POUNDS) in respect of any single claim required
- Term of Approved Lists and Award of Work
2.1. Following evaluation of Expressions of interest suitable Consultants notified that they will be placed upon the Approved List (Ref MFF61Graphic design services).
2.2. This Approved List shall be for a term of 6 months from the date of notification.
2.3. A Consultant may be removed from this Approved List should their circumstances change or they are in breach of any contract issued under this Approved List (or any other contract with the Authority) on written notice from the Authority.
2.4. Any Consultant may withdraw from this Approved List by giving written notice to the Authority.
2.5. Orders will be awarded onservice requirements.
2.6. Consultants will be notified of any work and given the opportunity to assess each job individually.
2.7. The value of any contracts issued under this Approved List to each Consultant shall not exceed £25,000 exclusive of VAT in any 12 month period.

1. MoorLIFE2020
Any contract issued relates may to a number of projects including for the purposes of the EU LIFE project (LIFE14/NAT/UK/000070) “MoorLIFE 2020”.
- Intellectual Property
The intellectual property rights (including copyright and design) of all documentation, and materials and of any copies of them (“Materials”) produced for the Authority pursuant to the contract by or on behalf of the Consultant will vest solely in the Authority. The Consultant shall not make or permit others to make any copies of Materials without the Authority’s consent, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld. The Consultant confirms that it owns the intellectual property and copyright in all images and data it uses in connection with the Services and grants a non-exclusive royalty free licence to the Authority to use such images or data in connection only with the Services provided.
3. Standard Terms and Conditions
2.1. All contracts shall incorporate the Authority’s Standard Terms and Conditions, which are available on request.
