JOB SUMMARY
Formulate and assist in the implementation ofprograms relative to employeeselection, training, promotion, welfare, and other employer/employee relationships. Interviews job applicants; develops personnel record forms, adjusts disputes and grievances and recommends necessary disciplinary actions. Analysis, classification and evaluation of all jobs. Administers the employee welfare and recreation services and serves as advisor to executive staff. Supervises HR activities at all locations. Ensures compliance with state licensing requirements for applicable pharmacy personnel.
JOB DESCRIPTION
-Oversee coordination of all recruiting activities, salaried and hourly
-Maintains accurate and complete employee files and other HR related information for salaried and hourly staff
-Be responsible for the coordination and completion of the Goal Setting and Performance Appraisal process
-Responsible for all HR related practices to ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable employment law
-Develops and reviews job descriptions, pay ranges, and job titles
-Supervises employee benefits and implements employee benefit programs
-Oversees the administration of all leaves required under state/federal law and or corporate policy
-Represents the company in legal proceedings and coordinates research and discovery with Corporate Counsel where necessary
-Provide guidance in all labor relations, employment legal matters, disciplinary issues and terminations for all locations
-Oversees and conducts new hire on-boarding programs and training
SKILLS REQUIRED
Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and HR functions
Demonstrated ability to complete investigations of employee complaints
Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed organization
Demonstrated ability to roll up their sleeves and do what is necessary to get the job done
Ability to successfully influence a multitude of work environments (warehouse to executive level)
Strong oral, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to organize work and prioritize to meet deadlines, make sound decisions with sound judgment
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’sdegree in Human Resources or Business Management
Five to seven years of Human Resources Managerial experience in a 300+ employee organization
Healthcare experience a plus
Experience managing multiple locations
Extensive experience with employee relations
Working knowledge of all federal labor laws
