Company Profile

The German company Morcher IOL is a pioneer in IOL research and production. It was founded in 1949 and has been established on the international market for more than 40 years now.

Morcher’s production is specialized in manufacturing intraocular implants and uses the latest developments in ophthalmic technology. Experience, quality, and qualified staff provide optimal conditions for the production of Morcher implants. Since the production of the first glass lenses with haptics out of horse hair to today’s, partly automated, production of modern implants – Morcher has always set high quality standards, as numerous quality certifications confirm.

Since its foundation the company has actively been researching and developing new products for ophthalmology - aniridia implants, capsular tension rings and the pupil dilator underline Morcher’s strength of innovation.
