Landscape Ontario in partnership with MinistryTrainingColleges and Universities (is now offering the opportunity for our members to pre-register their employees to begin their Apprenticeship pathway to success in the Landscape Horticulture Trade.

Step 1:
Please complete the attached pre-registration form, and provide the proof of education documentation as indicated on the bottom of the registration form.
Step 2:
Then fax all documentation along with the pre-registration form to your local Apprenticeship office. For a listing of Apprenticeship office, please see page two within this folder.
Step 3:
Step 3: The MTCU will contact your employer to schedule a registration
meeting at your workplace. At this meeting, the application and
training agreement will be signed and a $40.00 registration fee is to be
collected. Any questions about your apprenticeship can be clarified at
this meeting.
Step 4:
Accepted employees will attend school at an approved post secondary facility.

All potential apprentices must show “proof of education”. Most trades require Grade 12 or equivalency. For registration purposes, high school transcripts, diplomas or post secondary diplomas are acceptable. They should be submitted at the same time as you send this pre-registration form.
Any credentials you’ve earned that pertain to your particular trade will be discussed at your registration meeting.
