Job Description
Responsible for all facets of Digital Enterprise Application Architecture, including:
Collaborate with client business and technology leadership to provide digital architecture thought leadership (big picture thinking), develop proactive and reactive pitches and digital solutions across the enterprise.
Provide subject matter expertise across big data architecture, advanced analytics & visualisation, cloud native architecture, Omni-channel system of engagement, IoT and Robotics automation.
Define the digital enterprise capability framework, data governance framework, this involves developing a common set of digital architecture principles and patterns to facilitate the agile DEVOPS based delivery of the business capabilities in a test and learn model.
Develop and partnerships with appropriate digital start-up, technology and Fintechorganisations.
Responsibilities:
·Take architectural ownership across one or more areas such as Omni-channel (Web + Mobile) UI, Enterprise APIs / Microservices integrations, Data Architectures, and Identity and Access Management
·Provide technical leadership to the design, development/implementation, and testing of business solutions, often custom developed and integrating new technologies
·Preparing and presenting potential technical solutions and advising the business on the technical and business value of the proposition with appropriate trade offs
·Working with the developers, business analysts and subject matter experts to understand the complex technological system in order to produce integrated end-to-end solution options
·Communicating solution approaches to peer architects, project teams and other stakeholders
·Reviewing, analyzing and evaluating market requirements, business requirements and project briefs in order to design the most appropriate end-to-end technology solutions
·Keeping up-to-date on cutting edge technology, standards, protocols and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment
·Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills
·Ability to communicate and drive highly complex IT solutions to broad audiences/executives, business leaders, product managers, Legal, Security, and implementation specialists
·Demonstrated ability to describe non-functional requirements (qualities) and translate into architecture constraints
·Experience with selling architectures to cross-functional architecture and business teams
·Ability to define, structure and plan work independently
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years of experience in Computer system architecture
- At least 3 years of experience with digital application development
- At least 4 years of experience in large scale application design and development
