TKS issued over $35,000 to our families in scholarship funds for the 2016-2017 school year.

The Hewitt & Habgood Group is a Realtor team with Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate specializing in the Kessler Park, Stevens Park and North Oak Cliff neighborhoods. They have generously supported our Scholarship Fund for the past 5 years and have personally donated and helped raise over $55,000 for the Scholarship Fund since its inception.

As a result of their ongoing support, TKS is proud to be naming our Scholarship Fund the Hewitt & Habgood Scholarship Fund going forward. Once again, the Hewitt & Habgood Group is offering a matching grant to TKS and will match every dollar donated up to $5000 with the intent of raising $10,000 to support our Scholarships and Merit Scholarships. Families and community members will be encouraged to donate throughout the year to help those students and families who may need some additional financial assistance to enroll or keep their kids in TKS.

There will by multiple ways to donate to the Scholarship Fund. The Merit Scholarship application will have an area where parents may include an amount they would like to donate to the Hewitt & Habgood Scholarship Fund (i.e. $25, $50, $100, other) for dollar for dollar matching – thereby doubling your donation.
