To our Park City Prep Families,
In the effort to protect the physical safety of our students, we are revising our dismissal procedures for students being picked up by parents. The new procedure below will take effect on Monday September 11, 2017.
- The front gate on Mt. Grove will close daily from 3:00pm until 3:20pm Monday thru Thursday and 12:55pm until 1:15pm on Fridays.
- Parents picking up students at dismissal (3:10pm) will no longer be able to pull into the front parking lot on Mt. Grove Street.
- If you are not waiting on State Street or Mt. Grove, you must pull into the back lot on Hancock Ave.
- Your child will be dismissed from the building starting at 3:10pm and directed to the back of the parking lot if you are not on Mt. Grove or State Street waiting for your child.
- Be sure your child knows where to meet you every day at dismissal. We are unable to give last minute instructions to students at dismissal.
All parents entering and exiting the building at dismissal will now use the Hancock Ave. parking lot.
- Also, parents will no longer be allowed to come into the building to pick up their students for early dismissal between the hours of 3:00pm and 3:20pm. Students will be dismissed outside of the building.
- We are asking that phone calls into the building between the hours of 3:10pm and 3:20pm on Monday thru Thursday and 12:55pm and 1:15pm on Fridays be limited to emergencies only. As I am sure you can imagine, this is our busiest time of the day and to help ensure that all students are picked up and exit the building in a safe and timely manner, we will need to minimize the number of calls coming into the building during those times.
