Stanislaus River Parks
Campgrounds offer a unique camping experience for groups or individuals. Access is by boat, foot, or bicycle only. Campgrounds at Horseshoe Road and Valley Oak provide picnic tables, restrooms, garbage cans and fire pits. Drinking water is not available only at these two sites.

Rivers Edge Campground
In Knights Ferry, Backs up to the river and walking distance to all of Knights Ferry. - A Limited number of tent/RV camping spots are available at Rivers Edge Campground. You might also check out Rivers Edge Restaurant.

Location/Directions
About 25 miles east of Modesto on the south side of the Tuolumne River. From Modesto take Highway 132 East 14 miles to Waterford; in Waterford turn right on Hickman Road (county road J-9) and drive 1 mile to Lake Road. Turn left on Lake Road and drive 10 miles to Turlock Lake SRA.

Located north of Oakdale off Highways 120 & 108, 16 miles from Knights Ferry. Four campgrounds offer a total of 114 campsites for tent and RV camping - 40 campsites have full-hookups. Amenities include a picnic table, fire ring and flush toilets. Activities at Woodward Reservoir include fishing, boating, swimming, picnicking and radio control airplane flying. First-come, first-served.
