Minimum Eligibility Criteria

· be a Chapter Member in good standing;

· must hold a CHRL or CHRE designation

· be an Association Member for at least one (1) Membership Year;

· must have a minimum of 1 year HRPA York Region volunteer experience or prior Board experience

· not be the subject of any disciplinary proceedings by the Association;

· not have a finding of Professional Misconduct against the Chapter Member in the three (3) years preceding the date of the Nomination Deadline for the Directors’ election;

· be at least eighteen (18) years old;

· not be an individual who has been found under the Substitute Decisions Act, 1992 or

· under the Mental Health Act to be incapable of managing property;

· not be an individual who has been found to be incapable by any court in Canada or

· elsewhere;

· not have the status of bankrupt

· meet any other criteria as established by the Nominating Committee, the Chapter Board or the Association, including but not limited to reference checks prescribed by the Chapter Board in accordance with Section 8.7 of these Operating Terms, and any criteria outlined in the Skills Matrix
