The disclosure log summarises responses to requests we’ve handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
- Requester sought a list of successful Grants for the Arts applications on the theme of artistic and organisational or strategic development. This information was provided.
- Requester sought information held on the Sand Sea & Spray event in Blackpool between 2012-2015. These were provided with Section 40 (2) redactions.
- Requester sought copies of two applications to Grants for the Arts by individual artists. These were provided with Section 40 (2) and Section 43 (2) redactions.
- Requester sought information held by Arts Council England in relation to the alleged identity of Banksy claimed by Mail on Sunday. No information was held.
- Requester sought information on funding for a company. No information was held.
- Requester sought eight successful Grants for the Arts applications on the theme of artistic and organisational or strategic development following their previous FOI request. These were provided with Section 40 (2) and Section 43 (2) redactions.
- Requester sought all correspondence involving Birmingham Dance Hub between January 2015 and June 2017. This was refused as burdensome under Section 14 of the Freedom of Information Act.
- Requester sought copies of the application, supporting documents and attachments related to Nutkhut’sMade in Melaproject. This information was provided with Section 40 (2) redactions.
- Requester sought the names and email addresses for key heads of departments. This information was provided.
- Requester sought successful ACE funding applications from individuals. Clarification was required but not received, so the request was discontinued.
- Requester sought information on the level of BME actors performing in NPO theatres. No information was held.
- Requester sought correspondence between Arts Council England and the National Theatre from 11th June 2016 to the present day, following a previous request for the same material but a different timeframe. All correspondence not previously sent was provided with Section 40 (2) and Section 43 (2) redactions.
- Requester sought organisational budgets for the last two years. Clarification was required but not received, so the request was discontinued.
- Requester sought board decision meeting minutes concerning the funding of a project which did not go ahead. This was refused under Section 41 and Section 43 (2).
- Requester sought access to an Ambition for Excellence bid. This was refused under Section 41 and Section 43 (2).
- Requester sought information concerning the Arts Council Retirement Plan. This information was provided.
- Requester sought a copy of Artichoke’s Ambition for Excellence bid. This was provided with Section 40 (2) redactions.
- Requester sought copies of all correspondence, and supporting information concerning the purchase of the Mountbatten papers by Southampton University. This was provided with Section 21, Section 40 (2), Section 41 and Section 44 redactions.
- Requester sought copies of Grants for the Arts applications made by Groove Corporation and Overproof Sound System. This information was provided with Section 40 (2) and Section 43 redactions.
- Requester sought the value of accreditation grants awarded to Northampton Museum between 2003 and 2014. This information was provided.
- Requester sought information concerning the Arts Council’s mobile phone contracts. This information was provided.
- Requester sought a copy of Birmingham Rep’s Ambition for Excellence application. This information was provided with Section 40 (2) redactions.
- Requester sought information regarding payments to celebrities. This was refused under Section 12 and Section 40 (2) as we do not define people in that manner.
- Requester sought information on funding of individual artists. No information was held.
- Requester sought information on funding for carnival bands at Notting Hill Carnival 2017. Clarification was sought but not received, so the request was discontinued.
- Requester sought information regarding minority funding within the National Portfolio. Of the four questions, one was possible to be answered, two had no information held, and the fourth was refused under Section 21 as the information was already publicly available.
- Requester sought copies of all communications between Arts Council England and Haringey Council between 2009 and 2017. This was refused as burdensome under Section 14 of the Freedom of Information Act.
- Requester sought copies of all communications between Arts Council England and Jacksons Lane in 2017. This information was provided with Section 40 (2), Section 41 and Section 43 (2) redactions.
- Requester sought copies of all communications between Arts Council England and Jacksons Lane between 2009 and 2017. This information was provided with Section 40 (2), Section 41 and Section 43 (2) redactions.
- Requester sought all information held regarding funding of Ocean Studios CIC. This information was provided with Section 40 (2) and Section 43 (2) redactions.
- Requester sought a copy an application made by an individual to Grants for the Arts. This was provided with Section 40 (2) redactions.
