Dear TROY Friend and Supporter,
Troy University invites you to become part of our 2010 eCampus Colloquium. The three-day training event, which is scheduled for April 13 - 15, will be hosted completely online. By joining us as a sponsor, you will have the opportunity to connect with as many as 1,000 members of TROY’s online and on campus faculty, along with Global Campus regional site directors and other eCampus staff.
This year’s theme is Teaching and Reaching Online Learners from the Boomers to the Digital Natives. Scheduled training sessions include: Blackboard 9.1, Wimba Pronto, Teaching for first time learners, Quality Assurance, Multimedia teaching tools, Assessments and Copyright among others. Participating companies may submit proposals for additional online training sessions related to their product offerings. All sessions will be archived and can be viewed by faculty even after the eColloquium comes to a close. In addition, you may opt to set up a cyber booth or training room where you can meet with interested colloquium attendees. We will also gladly mail promotional items and information from sponsors to those who attend the eColloquium.
Your generous contributions will help us provide fantastic giveaway items such as LCD TV’s and digital cameras, which will be awarded during various training sessions, along with headphones and webcams for presenters. Other possible items include: blu-ray players, jump drives, external hard drives, flip video recorders and more! You will be recognized for making these giveaways possible.
We have established various levels of participation, as noted below, but will be glad to work with you in any way you deem appropriate.
