Digital Marketing Internship, Dazzling Dummies, York.
Full time internship for a final year student.
Dazzling Dummies is a dynamic online business consisting of four separate divisions. We supply excellent value-for-money shop fittings, storage racking and kitchen appliances for both domestic and commercial purposes. We have over 10,000 customers on our database and sell our products all over the world. The company requires a proactive intern who is particularly interested in carrying out a new online marketing project consisting of setting up social media campaigns. The role and responsibilities will include focusing on:
- Digital marketing through email, website, online shopping, affiliate programs and PPC
- Customer mailing strategy, implementation and maintenance
- Researching and advising on new digital marketing opportunities
- Starting and managing social media campaigns
- Sorting data into mailings lists, formatting and segmenting large data sets and interrogating these to produce analysis performance reports
- Producing sales materials such as flyers, coupons etc..
We are looking for someone with:
- A good understanding of data and experience of data manipulation
- An ability to produce and analyse results of marketing activity
- Some knowledge of online marketing
- Some understanding of social media campaigns
- An interest in engaging with marketing as a future career path

The intern will be based in the Dazzling Dummies offices in The Bull Commercial Centre, Stockton-On-Forest, York, YO32 9LE for 255 hours; the project is to be completed 37.5 hours per weekfor 6 weeks, to start mid June (the start and end dates are negotiable with Dazzling Dummies). The intern will be paid a training allowance of £6 per hour (£225 per week) which is exempt from tax and national insurance.
This internship is open to current registered students of the University of York with the legal right to work in the UK for the duration of the internship.
