Question: Your school is going to hold a sharing session of short stories. You are asked to write on the following topic: “If you are given the chance of possessing a supernatural ability, which one will you choose: the ability of travelling into the past or the future? ”Write an article.

Answer:

I can possess a supernatural ability, that’s great! The ability of travelling into the past or the future, which one will I choose? Both choices seem to be attractive and therefore, it is hard to make up my mind. Travelling to the past allows one to change any undesirable events. In the same way, going to the future lets someone create a better life. On the other hand, while going to the past allows one to rectify the mistakes, travelling to the future helps one develop a bright future. After having had a comprehensive analysis of both options, I will not hesitate to select the option of travelling to the future.

Why I choose that? Having been granted that of a supernatural ability of travelling into the past or the future is a blessing. However, going to the future may happen more unexpected results than the former. That is the reason why I choose it.

Now, let me tell you what I would do through of going to the future. Going to the future may let me have a precious opportunity of contacting aliens. I can make friends with aliens. In this way, I can visit and know more about the country of the aliens. Moreover, travelling into the future allows me to have a glimpse of all advanced technological developments. I will try to use the latest computer of 22 century. And then, I will use the Iphone 10 to contact my friends as well as upload my states. I will go to the Future School to study. Studying High- Technology techniques, and therefore can use it to my work or contribute to our society. For instance, I can use some medical techniques from the future to invent some medicines, which one can’t find at present. Also I will tag the price lower than other medicines, so the underprivileged people can effort their medicines’ expenses. Those reasons why I choose travelling into future.

In spite of this, it is understandable that different people are free to make their choice

based on multifarious considerations. As for me, If I am given the chance of possessing a supernatural ability, I will use it travelling into the future, my shiny future.
