Dear Parent/Guardians,
Parent/teacher conferences are being held at Jefferson High School in October. We encourage you to schedule conferences with your student’s teachers. We have an online system of scheduling and we believe it to be very convenient for you and for our teachers.
Conference time and date:
Monday, October 8, 2012 3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, October 10, 2012 3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 11, 2012 3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Parents may sign up for conferences with individual teachers online via the link to the conference website: www.myschoolsystems.com/cedarrapids/jefferson/
The link will be activated on Sept. 24th and will close the day before each conference day. Once you are on the site, simply use your Power School Student First Name and Last Name and Student Password to sign up for conference sessions.
Conference times are ten minutes in length, and parents are limited to three individual sessions. Please note that high school conferences are with individual teachers rather than the team of teachers as in middle school. When scheduling the conferences it may be best to plan a ten minute break between each conference to allow for moving from one teacher location to the next.
Parents are welcome to contact Lori Gunn in our main office at 558-3758 or at for assistance with conference scheduling. Contact her if you:
· Have no access to internet.
· Want separate conference schedules for multiple parent/guardians.
· Missed the signup deadline and want to schedule conferences.
· Are having problems with the online system.
She will be happy to schedule the conferences for you if you prefer.
