(GYNAECOLOGICAL VETERINARY CARE)
Three options are available:
1. Chilled Semen per oestrus cycle: £196.00 + VAT
2. Frozen Semen per oestrus cycle: £247.00 + VAT
3. Full breeding season (Three oestrus cycles): £430.00 + VAT (option to be chosen prior
to first examination)
The fee for the veterinary schemes will cover all routine gynaecological work including
Artificial Insemination with chilled or frozen semen, ultrasound scans, clitoral CEM swabs,
uterine swabs & smears, progesterone blood tests, pre and post breeding treatments including
drugs, caslick operations, pregnancy testing up to 45 days and squeezing twins. Does not
include keep fees.
4. Per oestrus cycle excluding clitoral CEM swabs & pregnancy testing:
a. Chilled Semen £ 134.00 + VAT
b. Frozen semen £ 216.00 + VAT
Natural Breeding
5. Per oestrus cycle incl. clitoral CEM swabs & pregnancy scans: £196.00 + VAT
6. Per oestrus cycle excl. clitoral CEM swabs & pregnancy scans: £134.00 + VAT
7. Full breeding season (three oestrus cycles): £430.00 + VAT (option to be chosen prior to
first examination)

Excluded from the scheme are:
1. Mares of 17 years of age and more.
2. Mares which have not had a surviving live foal for the last two years, other than 1st
and 2nd foaling mares – to be disussed based on the mare’s history on a case by case
basis
3. Fees for second opinions, specialised tests and treatments.
4. Regumate, Receptal, Zoladex and Ovuplant implants and Domperidone.
5. Surgical and medical treatment carried out away from the stud, e.g hospitalisation.
6. Non-gynaecological veterinary treatment
7. Insurance examinations, import and export tests and examinations.
8. Routine vaccinations.
9. Laboratory fees for EVA and Coggins tests.
10. Foetal Sexing
