The Jockey Club Live and Newmarket Racecourses are delighted to announce THE VAMPS as headliners for Summer Saturday Live 2018, following amazing shows in previous years from the likes of Jess Glynne, McBusted and Little Mix. The Vamps are the first announcement for the summer season, with further acts to be announced for the award winning Newmarket Nights.
The Vamps are one of the most successful current British bands, having achieved a huge amount of success and acclaim all over the globe. Releasing their debut single ‘Can We Dance’ in 2013, they have since clocked up 5 top ten hits including ‘Wild Heart’, ‘Last Night’ and Somebody To You’. Their latest album, Night & Day, stormed straight into the Top 10 on the iTunes chart in over 20 countries including Argentina, Philippines, India and Australia and went to #1 in the UK official album charts with the first single‘All Night’ amassing over 300 million streams and going in to the top 25 in the world on Spotify. They are a force to be reckoned with on social media, with over 6 million likes on their Facebook, almost 4 million followers on Twitter, 2 million followers on Instagram, and 144 million views on YouTube.

Summer Saturday Live is a perfect day out for the family, taking place during the day of the last bank holiday in August. There will be reduced priced children’s tickets aged 5-17 available when accompanied by a responsible adult of 18 or over, with children aged 4 and under are entitled to free admission.
The Jockey Club Live are leading promoters on the UK live scene, delivering spectacular line-ups of some of the hottest chart talent and legendary household names to some of the world’s most famous racecourses. Summer Saturday Live and Newmarket Nights are a staple in the regions social calendar and last year hosted tens of thousands fans of live music, with performances from artists including Olly Murs, Jess Glynne, Culture Club and The Jacksons.
The events are renowned for combining a fun filled evening at the races with a spectacular evening concert in the informal and relaxed open-air setting of the hallowed turf.
The Jockey Club racecourses have world-class customer facilities, featuring an array of award winning restaurants that cater for all tastes, be it Fine Dining through to delicious bistro food. The Jockey Club venues welcome over 2million people a year for some of the UKs biggest racing events so you can be sure a fantastic evening.
Tickets will be on sale at 8am on Friday 17th November via with a presale available to customers at 8am on Wednesday 15th November. Tickets are priced starting at £25 adult /£13 child (under 18). In addition to Newmarket, The Jockey Club Live will be hosting live concerts across Sandown Park, Market Rasen, Aintree, Haydock Park and Carlisle racecourses next summer.
