IEEE REGION 5 CIRCUIT DESIGN AND ETHICS COMPETITIONS
Locally co-organized by IEEE Student Branch at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
Circuit Design Competition and Ethics Competition will take place on Saturday at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi campus, in Engineering Building. Circuit Design Competition will start at 8:30 am. Ethics Competition will start at 9:00 am.
The following are the location for the different competitions and logistics:
Circuit Design Competition: Engineering Building, Room 220 and Room 217 (EN 220 and EN 217) – 2nd floor
Ethics Competition: Engineering Building, Room 214 and 316A (EN 214 and EN 316A) – 2nd & 3rd floor
Judges Room: EN 201 & EN 212
Boxed lunches will be available in Engineering Building, Room 212 (EN 212) at 11:30 am. – 2nd floor
Although bus service will be provided, the teams may take their own vehicles. The bus holds 41 passengers, and will make two trips to the campus and back:
In the morning, from Omni Corpus Christi hotel to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC) Campus:
1st departure at 7:40 am (departure for Circuit Design Competition)
2nd departure at 8:30 am (departure for Ethics Competition).
In the afternoon, from TAMUCC campus to Omni hotel:
1st Departure at 2:45 pm (departure for Ethics Competition)
2nd Departure at 3:45 pm (departure for Circuit Design Competition)
Note: Any deviations from the above will be announced during registration, or at TAMUCC campus.

Please note that due to construction, detours are expected. Follow Ocean Drive to Ennis Joslin (gas station on the diagonal right corner). Once past Ennis Joslin and a low bridge, take the first right into TAMUCC campus on Island Blvd. Drive to the T-junction, and turn left onto Oso Lane. Engineering Building is at the end of this street. There will be construction on the right hand side. The parking garage is on the left hand side. To park in the parking garage, turn left, then take another left at the end of the street. You will need to make a U-turn to get in through the only entrance.

The University will be welcoming senior high school students and their parents on April 5, 2014, for Island Days. There may be a lot of traffic, car or pedestrian, on campus. Parking will be free and open to the public. Students may park in any of the parking lots, excluding reserved and handicap parking. The parking garage is also expected to be open to the public free of charge on this day.
