If you will be showing in ONE show only, select either Show A or Show B. If you will be showing in both show, select both Show A and Show B. Please fill out all information and mail it to the Show Secretary with the Pen Request Form.
The MGR Show rules pertain to both shows.
Goats must be checked in from 2 PM- 6 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2016 or 8 AM- 8:30 AM on Friday, June 3, 2016.

Rules & Regulations:
1. All goats must be registered by Myotonic Goat Registry. Original registration certificate must accompany the goat at check in.
2. Pending registrations will not be accepted.
3. Age eligibility for classes will be determined by birth date on registration certificate.
4. Please use full registration name on entry form along with the correct breeder/exhibitor name.
5. The goat’s permanent ID (USDA scrapie tag, tattoo, or microchip) must be on the Certificate (as recorded by MGR) and registered with the MGR.
6. The correct Breeder/Exhibitor name as on the Reg. Certificate must be on the entry form, unless you have a signed transfer application that is dated 45 days or less to the show date.
7. No percentage goats will be shown.
8. Substitutions will be allowed at check-in within the same class at no charge.
9. Show will start at: Show A: 9 AM
Show B: 2 PM
10. This is a ribbon and points show, as well as premiums being offered. Any available awards will be announced at the show. The Market Wether Show will be run as a 50/50 Jackpot. 50% of the entry fees will go to the show, 30% of the entry fees will be awarded to the Grand Champion Market Wether & 20% of the entry fees will be awarded to the Reserve Grand Champion Market Wether.
11. Premiums for show:
1st place: $10, 2nd place: $8, 3rd place: $5, 4th place: $4
Champions & Reserve Champions will receive a rosette and gift.
Local Classes will receive rosettes.
Awards for Showmanship
12. All goats must be shown with a collar. Owners are responsible for securing their goats at all times.
13. Novice Breeder Classes: Any breeder who has shown in less than 5 shows.
Youth Bred & Owned: Youth must be the owner of the dam at time of breeding and kidding.
14. Local Class Rules: Flashiest Goat Contest: 8A. Goats are to be judged on flashiest/prettiest coat color.
Best Trained Wether: 8B. Wether will be asked to back up, side pass, and pivot.
15. Goats may be sold private treaty. Any goats sold must be entered unless approval has been made by show manangent.
16. Any item that comes up that is not specifically covered by these rules will be decided by the show personnel and their decision will be final.
17. All goats must have a health certificate dated not before May 20th and the show address must be your destination. Health papers will be checked. Kentucky Health Rules Apply!!! Scrapie rules apply. If you use microchips, you must furnish a reader. Tattoos must be legible. Scrapie tags are acceptable. You must bring an extra copy of your goat’s health certificate that will be retained by the show secretary.
18. All goats entering (KY) for exhibition must meet all the requirements for entry into (KY). Goats will be examined on grounds by show personnel before unloading. Any goat found to show evidence of sickness will not be allowed to unload; no refunds will be given for these goats. Goats showing evidence of disease, particularly foot rot, sore mouth, abscesses, healing wounds or lumps will not be allowed to enter the barn or show and may be released by officials.
19. No animal with an open wound shall be allowed to be unloaded on the showground. The organizers of this show and the facility will not be liable for any loss, damages or accidents to animals, persons or property while participating in the show. Youth exhibitors are to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
20. MGR rules to govern and take precedence over all others.
21. Entry fee is $8.00 per goat, per show, per class for Does, Bucks, and Platinum Wethers. No fee for Showmanship. Local Classes fee is $5.00 per goat, per show, per class. Entry fee is $10.00 per Whether for Market Wether Program. Pen Fee is $5.00.
22. Entries must be received by May 27, 2016.
23. No refunds on entry fees!!!
24. Check-In either June 2nd between 2 PM- 6 PM and June 3rd from 8 AM-8:30 AM.
25. Goats will be released immediately after the show
26. No alcoholic beverages or smoking in the barns or arena allowed.
27. STATEMENT OF LIABILITY: The show organizers will not be responsible for loss, damages, or accidents to animals, property, or persons while participating in the show.
