Led a team of 60 in executing high-impact clinical and community marketing strategies. Identified and cultivated new business opportunities and successfully maintained loyal existing business relationships. Successfully organized seven emergency medicine conferences in Idaho and Oregon.

Key Accomplishments

  • Targeted Bogus Basin Mountain Ski Resort as a viable prospect; developed relationship while pitching full portfolio of services. Earned recognition for negotiating and closing a $500,000 contract after reversing the resort’s negative thought process on placing MICU on location to a benefit to its guests.
  • Tasked with establishing a high-fidelity human simulation education center slated to serve as a continuing resource to hospital and EMS personnel. Devised and implemented an accelerated project plan that included assembling a cadre of hospital managers and LifeFlight Network clinical staff to research and select simulation equipment, identify and train instructors, and set up the lab. Lead instructor for training and outreach education.
  • Selected to serve as the organization’s representative on the State of Idaho Cardiac Level I Advisory Committee and Heart Disease and Stroke State Plan.

As Base Operations Manager, led a team of 60 nurses and paramedics across three base sites in execution of helicopter, mobile ICU, and ALS services. Ensured scene safety and oversaw operation of Dauphin and Agusta helicopters. Administered budgets and enforced policies, procedures, and protocols. As Critical Care Transport Flight Paramedic, employed expertise to evaluate, treat, and transport critically ill and injured patients to medical facilities across Northwest Ohio. Managed instructional programs. Selected to serve as preceptor in support of new team members.
