HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL GIORGIONE
BY PLANE
From Venice’s Marco Polo airport (13 kilometers from Venice)
WATER BUS: The Alilaguna boat transfer from the airport costs c. 10 Euro. Once you're through arrivals, follow the signs for the dock (look out for 'Alilaguna' - it's quite well sign-posted. Then you need to take a boat which goes to Fondamente Nuove. Ask the boat people to be sure (they're also helpful at telling you which stop you've got to), but having glanced at their website, you need the BLU line. The boat takes about 40 mins. Once you get to Fondamente Nuove, with your back to the water face R, walk along the front, and head over a bridge. Once over the bridge, turn L into the city - you should walk past the big Jesuit church. Keep going straight on (over several bridges) until you get a Co-op on your R side - then turn R, walk past the Giorgione cinema, and at the end of that street turn L and you'll see your hotel. It's an 8 min walk, I'd say. If you get lost, ask for the cinema/Co-op.
