Scholarship Application

Amount: Up to two $1000.00 awards will be.

Purpose

The purpose of the scholarship is to promote and reward community service and leadership.

Eligibility—Applicants must meet one of the following criteria AND have a 3.0 or higher GPA.

  • Student must be a 2017 graduate of North Thurston, Timberline, or River Ridge High School AND a Key Club member.
  • Be an active member of Thurston County WESAR (Search and Rescue Explorer Post) AND a 2017 high school graduate.
  • Be an active member of Saint Martin’s University CKI AND have at least one semester of college left.

Redemption

The scholarship may be used at any accredited post-secondary institution for education or vocational training. Proof of enrollment will be required.

Decision of Award

The scholarship will be awarded at Honors Night of the recipient’s school (for High School winners.) CKI winners will be personally notified. The winner will also be expected to appear at a North Thurston Kiwanis meeting for presentation before the club. The North Thurston Kiwanis meet Tuesday mornings at 7:00 AM.
