Canteen - Inside of canteen has been painted with just a few touch ups to be done. Thanks to the helpers who spent the first week of the holidays doing this.
We will compile a list of things needed to complete the kiddies room for the next meeting.
Treasurer Report by Adam Morrison

Adam Morrison made a motion to purchase the accounting program AdminBandit to put all our 2015-2016 reports into. Cost $180-$200. Seconded: Jodie Mayall
General bank account: June $25,371.56 (closing balance)
Canteen account: June $10,766.11(closing balance)
*There is quite a few invoices outstanding on the canteen account for the canteen renovations.

Canteen Report by Kelly McMahon (read in her absence).
*Canteen looks great, thanks to the helpers in the holidays.
*Melinda Jordan filling in, in Kelly's absence for the 1st week of term 3.
*A separate canteen meeting will be held in the coming weeks to discuss price increases, menu changes and any other general business.
Fundraising report by Rebecca Adams.
*No formal report was given due to Rebecca’s absence.
*Trivia night - Saturday 25th July: still need to sell more tickets. Aim is 10 tables of 8. Money from the night will go towards the football jerseys.
*Walkathon - 7th August: meal deal notes will go out next week. Sponsorship forms are out and due back on the 7th August. Bec will re-promote the event at future assemblies.
Discussion was had over prizes. Michelle suggested to make it fairer that we have 9 prizes for the 9 highest money earners in the school. 5 for 3-6, 4 for K-2. Major prize is to be decided on and purchased so it can be displayed for the children.
*A detailed fundraising timeline will be presented at the next meeting but some upcoming events were, Bowls day, chocolate drive, cookie dough drive, family photos.
Principal’s Report
*No paper report given.
* 7 new students starting school the following week.
* 22 early bird registrations so far for Kinder 2016.
* 2/3Red will be moving into the new classroom on Monday 20th July.
* Larni Christie will be doing drama lessons with Yrs 3-6 each Wednesday.
*3-6 Athletics carnival & K-2 Fun day a huge success. Thanks to all the teachers and parents.
* Teacher training - National Disability
* Nature Garden - planning will start on the back oval soon.
* Professional Development day - Friday 6 & Saturday 7 November will swap with staff development day on Friday 18th December. This will mean that all students will attend school on Thursday 17th Dec.

*Riley Aire has been employed as a learning support officer within the school.
General Business
*Carpark Upgrade - Adam to organise meeting with Jeff Bush from council with Michelle and other committee members attending.
*Football uniforms – Jodie Mayall made a motion for us to purchase the remaining football jerseys along with a bulk lot of plain black football short $16ea and football socks $10 a pair. Jerseys and shorts will be used and washed. Socks sold for $5 a pair.

*Day meetings – It was noted that several of the committee members were unable to attend day meetings. Adjourned over to the next meeting to decide what to do with the day meetings.
