You must complete exercises to brush up on your grammar skills using the website that accompanies your Diana Hacker textbooks.

1.  Please go to the website above,

2.  and under the tab labeled, “Grammar Exercises,”

3.  select one of the skills.

4.  Once you select a practice quiz, you will need to type your name (please put your FULL NAME – FIRST AND LAST NAME) and CLASS. (Example: Jon Kern B4) You will need to also type my school email address as the instructor address ().

5.  Then take the quiz, use the hints, and learn from your mistakes.

6.  If you get below a 70%, you will have to retake the test, as you will only get credit for those quizzes that you pass.

Each Sunday, by midnight, a certain portion is due. Please follow the prescribed outline to make sure you don’t lose points. Completing these sections will not take long (5-10 minutes maximum). It is up to you to pace yourself to insure you meet the deadlines. You may work ahead.

Please note that the website makes specific reference to your Diana Hacker books; thus, it would be wise to have your Hacker book handy so that you can review material you find confusing. Finally, you may always come see me with any questions!
