What do we offer? - Home 4 Life (Scotland) Ltd provide individually tailored care packages that put you at the forefront of Care. Staff will work closely with the individual and their families or carers to identify likes and dislikes, gathering information on routines which are important to a person’s daily structure. Identifying activities which are meaningfully and have a purpose to that individual.
Our Care Packages are person centred with outcomes being measured & achieved as set out by Local Authorities, families and/or powers of attorney.We also offer transitional care packages for individuals affected by a disability who are moving from children to adult support.
We offer a varied range of supportive care packages which are tailored to the needs and wants of every person supported by Home 4 Life (Scotland) Ltd. Some example packages include:
- Personal Care packages, assisting people to maintain dignity, medication assistance, providing meals at any time of the day
- Befriending Service: Not all people we support require full care packages, sometimes individuals require a service that offers one to one support to go shopping, pay bills, meeting family and friends etc. Being part of your community.
- Sitter Service: This service allows staff and the people we support to have one to one time in a person’s home or a home provided by Home 4 Life (Scotland) where they can both enjoy each other’s company, watching a movie, going into the local community to participate in various activities such as walking clubs, Musical minds.
We firmly believe that every single person has the right to stay in a house/flat whilst enjoying a socially inclusive life regardless of their disability or frailty and benefiting from one-to-one personal care that is tailored to meet their specific requirements, we can also assist in the following areas:
- Help in establishing personal security Assist the service user to maintain the security of their flat e.g. explaining how to lock up and manage appropriate access
- Life skills budgeting and managing finances Assist service users to live within their budget and advise them on how to manage their finances on a day-to-day basis Life skills cooking Encourage and motivate service users to prepare and cook meals safely
- Life skills laundry Provision of advice and practical assistance to enable the service user to deal with their laundry e.g. how to operate a washing machine by themselves Life skills cleaning Encourage and motivate the service user to keep their home clean
- Self-Management Encourage and motivate the service user to maintain any appointments relevant to improving their ability to manage themselves in their accommodation.
We work closely with families, carers and social workers to establish how many hours of care each person will benefit from whilst working within the SDS budgetary boundaries.
We offer financially viable care packages that do not financially exploit those who require care. Home 4 Life (Scotland) deliver a minimum of one hour per day to 24 hours a day. We will work with Social Work and Power of Attorneys to establish how many hours of care you are entitled to per day or per week.
