BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION:
Our April collection will end on April 28th. The class that sends in the most box tops will get a special treat.
SCRIP ORDERS:
The next order will go in on May 10th. Please remember that we always have a supply of Shop Rite cards on hand in the Main Office.
HOME RUN FOR CATHOLIC SCHOOLS:
The date is Thursday, June 22, 2017at7:05 pm at the Renegades Stadium in Fishkill. The Renegades will play the Staten Island Yankees. The Renegades play Minor League Class A Baseball in the New York-Penn League.
Students and families can begin purchasing tickets NOW. A flyer is in today’s Thursday folder. Our unique code is: mountcarmel.
To buy tickets, go towww.gadesgroups.com.Use your code.Each school will receive $3.00 per ticket sold. Each ticket holder will receive a free Renegades cap. It is best to buy tickets by April 15 as after that date, ticket sales are open to the general public.
The school that sells the most tickets (CODE: mountcarmel) will be invited to have a pre-game catch on the field. Deadline for this Contest is June 1. (Tickets will be available right up to game time). You must bring your own baseball glove. Please arrive when the gates open at 5:30 p.m. The winning school will also receive a visit from Rascal, the team mascot. Rascal loves to visit Field Day!
All schools and studentsare invitedto Parade on the ball field prior to the game carrying their school banner. You will be asked to carry your school banner. Please arrive by 6:00 p.m. in order to participate.
SUMMER UNIFORMS:
Just a reminder that the summer uniform is as follows:
Girls K-3: Yellow short sleeve polo, navy uniform skort or navy uniform shorts
Girls 4-8: Yellow short sleeve polo, navy uniform skort or plaid uniform skirt
Boys PK-8: Yellow short sleeve polo and navy uniform shorts or pants
Phys. Ed: Navy blue uniform shorts (mesh) with OLMC name, gray t-shirt with OLMC logo, white socks and sneakers with laces.
SPRING CONCERT:
Our Spring Concert will be held this year on May 19th at 1:30pm. The theme of the concert this year is Love, Peace and Happiness. All grades will take part in the concert that will be held in our gymnasium.
NEW PARKING LOT AND ROOF:
As many of you have noticed, OLMC has a brand new parking lot and roof. The comments I am hearing from everyone are so positive. A huge thank you has to go to Todd Lyons Paving Company for the great job they did on the parking lot. We also must acknowledge Billman Ross and Associates for the work they did on our roof.
YARD SALE:
Our Spring Yard Sale is Saturday, May 13th from 9:00am-2:00pm. There are spots available if anyone is interested for $25. For more information, please call the Main Office or speak with Mrs. Welch.
BOOK FAIR:
Our final Book Fair will be held the week of May 8th. This Book Fair is the Buy One Get One Free fair. We will need volunteers to help us during the week Monday through Friday. If you are interested, please call the Main Office.
