CARDINGTON with ADDLESTONE CANOE CLUB

Meet at 9.30 a.m

Suitable for beginners - a fantastic day out for the family which we share with Addlestone Canoe Club in Priory Park , Bedford. If you have not been to this park before then the Clover Dale Retreat Cafe which opened in 2016 has an excellent website: https://cloverdaleretreat.co.uk/

The Cardington Slalom Course is within the grounds of the park and provides an ideal opportunity for those who are not used to moving water to come and have a go and for everyone else to practice their skills. Kayaks and all inflatables welcome ! Bring the family and a picnic. Plenty of opportunities to explore the river if you fancy a bit of peace and quiet on flat water or to enjoy some of the other facilities of Priory Park.

For those who have already done a bit of moving water then this is a fun sized challenge and if you have never done it before then it’s worth giving it a go. Helmets have to be worn at all times. Always something new to learn here and immense fun – if it all goes wrong …bale out and stand up …its that deep !

Cost: £5 per head
