Grant Submission Guide

Applicant Submission Process

  1. Got to link
  2. Click on Login
  3. Enter Username and Password
  4. Click Login

Profile Screen will appear

  1. Click on “My Proposals”
  2. Click on Create New Proposal

  1. Enter Details for Funding Application
  1. Please ensure that the name in Applicant’s name field is your name.

Note: All information must be completed before clicking on “Create Proposal”

  1. Click on "Save and Continue”.

  1. Complete Tabs for Submission
  2. Depending on Questions answered on previous screen or Funding selected tabs will differ
  3. Click each tab on your left to complete required information
  4. Click on “Complete” at the top right corner to move to next tab

Please note that from this step onwards, you can save your work and complete it later. Click on the “Save” button on the top left corner and then click on “Done”. You can login later on to complete your application. Kindly refer to step 10 below for further details.

  1. Click on Personnel Tab
  2. You can add additional personnel.
  3. Enter name or surname , confirm department and staff/student name
  4. Select the “Click Add”
  5. Click on Complete when all personnel added

Note: 1. External Personnel can be added on EFORM in “Internal Documents”

2. If you don’t complete a page, an ALERT will appear. Click on Personnel Name to enter missing personnel details

  1. Budget Tab
  2. Click on Budget tab
  3. Depending on application. If more than one year, each year will show as a period. Enter budget for each period
  1. Budget Items
  2. Select Budget Category
  3. Click Add Item
  1. Enter budget details
  2. Enter Amount
  3. Enter Description
  4. Click Save
  5. Click on Justification tab to enter Justification
  6. Click Save
  7. Click on Save and Close to close window

NOTE: To add more budget items , follow steps 7 a -b

  1. Click on Complete Budget , after all budget items entered
  2. Click on “Done” at the top left corner to close budget screen.
  1. Click on Internal Documents Tab
  2. Click on /Editto open Eform(Electronic Application Form)
  1. Depending on Funding you are applying for relevant questions will appear.
  2. Complete all required questions to complete form
  3. Click on “Complete” at the top right corner to close out form

NB: If after checking “Complete” at the top right corner, you are met with a blank screen, Please press “F5” to reload the page, un-complete the form and complete it again.

  1. Once form has been completed. Click on “Completed
  1. Click on Finalize Tab
  1. Click on “Submit Final Review”
  2. Click on Submit
  3. PI and RDO’s will receive notification of submission
  4. Note : ORID Admin will receive application for Review
  1. Click on “Done” at the top left corner to close submission record

Please take note of your proposal code at the top right corner.

  1. To continue from where you left off, after logging in;
  1. Select “My Proposal” on the left menu.
  2. Click on “Show/List”.
  3. Hover overthe folder icon beside grant type with your mouse.
  1. Click on “Edit” under PD column.
  1. Follow Steps 5 – 9 to complete and submit your application.
