TEACHER:
Born in 1966, Apostolis is specialized in the dances of Northern Thrace, or AnatolikiRomyliaas it is called with its other name.
He holds a degree specialized in traditional Greek dances and is currently teaching dances in the Hellenic Club of Women in Katerini, in the dance group Chorostates and the Traditional Dance Workshop For Teachers in Thessalonike. He was also teaching traditional dances on the Aristotle University of Thessalonike’s Sports Academy for 5 years.
Due to his vibrant personality and exceptional didactic skills, Apostolis has been invited to teach at numerous dance seminars in Greece and abroad (in Cyprus, Germany and France among others).
Due to the huge success of our previous seminar with him, it is the second time he will come to Belgium on our invitation and again he will be accompanied by the great accordion playerDimitris Altantsidis.
CURRICULUM:
The program is set both for beginners and advanced.
In this seminar we will learn the known and less known dances of AnatolikiRomylia and we’ll learn the differences between the styles of Monastiri and Kavakli. We will also work on figures of several dances, including the Tsestos.
And we will complete our program with the dynamic dances of the Black Sea coast, Bana. Accordionist Dimitris Altantsidis will accompany us during the seminar.

Seminar:55€ (45€ for Terpsichori yearly ticket holders).
Saturday evening:22€ which includes entrance fee, warm dish, dessert and unlimited drinks.You are free to bring accompanying persons for the same price, on reservation ONLY!

DVD:15€. The price of the CD and DVD are to be paid on the spot.
