Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2)
The Preschool Exceptional Children Program is proud to announce three upcoming training events on the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2), an instrument for diagnosing and assessing autism. The training will be conducted by Pamela C. DiLavore, Ph.D., Assistant Director of the TEACCH Autism Program, and one of the creators of ADOS-2.
The ADOS-2 helps examiners create a context in which behaviors related to autism spectrum disorder can be observed. It also helps examiners construct a profile of strengths and difficulties that may be useful in intervention planning. The ADOS-2 can be administered to children ages 12 months to adulthood. This workshop will focus on Modules 1, 2, and 3. There will be a live demonstration of the ADOS-2 followed by an opportunity to practice and discuss the scoring criteria.
