orviolentmovementoftheheadsuch
asfromafall,car
crash,orbeingshaken.TBImayormaynotbecombinedwithlossofconsciousness,anopenwound,orskullfracture.
AlthoughtheriskofTBIishighestamongtheelderly,adolescents,andyoungadultsduetofallsandvehicleaccidents,many
servicemenandwomenreturningfromwarareexperiencingTBIsymptomsaswell.
