Hello!

I hope you are having a wonderful summer full of activities that make you happy. I also hope that you have had time this summer to tackle some organizing projects that you have been wanting to do. I have felt the need to simplify lately, so I have spent some time downsizing my clothing, jewelry, and items in the store room. It felt great, and it was exactly what my soul and brain needed to start fresh and tackle some other more involved projects. Do you feel like creating a sense of newness and calmness? Pick one area that gets you frazzled, and spend a couple hours decluttering to create your clean slate. Happy Organizing....Traci

Organizing Tips

  • Pay attention to how much you move your stuff - if you are moving stuff in order to get at what you need, to work, or to cook - you have too much stuff in the space. Take time to organize and declutter and you will save time in the long run as you won't have to be continually shifting things around.
  • If you are having trouble with clutter and can't seem to let things go that you MIGHT need, it helps to ask yourself 'If I happen to need this, can I replace it easily and inexpensively?' If so, let it go.
  • Hate to spend time organizing because you enjoy people, not organizing? Ask a friend to join you and make your organizing session fun for you. You can repay the favor at their place at a later date.
