1.Objectivesandgoals:
- popularization of «Winter Unifight» in order to include this discipline of Unifight into the program of Winter Olympic Games;
- strengthening of international sports connections and exchange of experience among national federations;
- to define the strongest sportsmen of the World in «Winter Universal Fight».
2. Organization, time and place of holding:
Winter Unifight Cup is held from the 3th to 5th of February, 2012 in Russia, the town of Medyn, Kaluga region.
3rdof February:
- sportsmen’s and referees’ arriving, their accommodation, accreditation of referees of national federations for judging in the competitions;
- 11.00 – 13.00 – credential committee, weighing in, draw;
- 14.00 – 16.00 –official training at the place of holding competitions;
- 14.00 – 16.00 - referee seminar, referee certification;
- 18.00 - 19.00 - joint session of Organizing Committee, referee board and teams’ representatives.
4thof February:
- 09.00-12.00 - ski racing and shooting and preliminary single duels (men and women);
- 12.00 – 13.00 - ceremony of opening World Cup«Winter Unifight»;
- 13.30 - ski racing and shooting and preliminary single duels (men and women).
5thof February:
- 10.00- ski racing and shooting semi- final and final single duels (men and women);
- 14.00 -award ceremony of winners and prize-winners, official closing of competitions, press-conference.
3.Regulations of holding competitions:
Common direction of holding competitions is entrusted on the Executive Committee of International Federation “Winter Unifight” and Organizing Committee. Direct leadership of holding competitions is implemented by chief referee of referee board. Refereeing of the Cup is implemented in concordance with Regulations of «Winter Universal Fight».
Chief referee of the competitions – chairman of referee board FIAU, referee of international category extra-class Chumlyakov A. P. (Russia).
Chief Secretary of the competitions - by appointment
Referees for service are called according to the decision of Executive Committee and Organizing Committee of FIAWU.
4.Participants of competitions:
Competitions are held among men (weigh category –up 80 kg) and women (weigh category - up 52 kg) 18 years and older.
Uniform and outfit of sportsmen: ski costume, special jacket for duels (red or blue), skis, ski poles, ski shoes, ski cap, ski gloves, special footwear for wrestling on snow for 2 and 3 rounds (trainers with protectors).
Referees’ uniform: dungarees, warmed jacket, cap, special footwear, red – blue oversleeves.
5.Conditionsofholdingcompetitions:
The process of draw and order of the duels are settled (after credential committee and weighing in) by referee board.
Duel is held like biathlon double:
A). Passing short ski distance (2 circles, each circle - under 200 meters long), racing at a target from pneumatic pistol from destination of 10 m after passing 1st circle. If a target is not defeated, it is punished with penal points. 1 miss - 1 point, which is given to a rival in the 2 round.
Sportsman, that is the 1st at the distance of ski sprint with the difference in time more than 20 sec, gets additional bonus – 1 point, which goes to the 2nd round, each following 15 sec – advantages are rewarded with 1 additional point.
Winning the distance of ski sprint with racing is estimated like 1 won round.
If a participant became second and dropped behind his rival for more than 60 sec, he is withdrawn and his rival receives clean victory.
B). Duel in the snow. Before duel sportsman takes off his ski boots and takes on special footwear. One minute is given for it.
Duel in the snow is held according to the rules of “Light Universal Fight” – 2 rounds during 2 minutes of clean time. Breakbetweenrounds – 30 sec.
Competitions are held in concordance with the Olympic system when defeated is withdrawn after the first defeat.
6. Winners.
The winner of the final round takes the first place, defeated - second, those who lost semi-final duels take third places. The places of other sportsmen are divided in concordance with the circle at which they finished competitions. Those who were defeated at ¼ of final wrestling share places from 5 to 8, the places lower 8th are not divided.
7. Rewarding.
Winners and prize-winners are rewarded with medals and diplomas.
1st place – 30000 rubles, 2ndplace – 15000 rubles , 3rd places (2) – 7500 rubles.
All the teams must have two national flags and national hymn for the ceremony of awarding.
Athletesdepartingfrom the competitionbefore the awards ceremony, lose the right to receiveaward consists of theprize money.
8. Application.
This Regulation is a call for taking part in the competitions. Participants, who arrived under the call must give to the credential committee personally or with their representatives an application form in two copies, documents, that identify them аand also insurance policy for each sportsman.
In order to timely form entrance to Russia foreign participants should confirm their participation not later than on the 15th of January with their passport information (copies of passport dates) of all members of the delegation, places of employment, positions, home and service telephone numbers.
Accreditation of participant of competitions – 2500 rubles.
