CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PLAN 2016/2017

(FOR COLLABORATIVE PROVISION ONLY)

Plans to enhance the quality of this provision depend on the collection, analysis and use of management information available to the Programme Team. Teams must reflect on recommendations that have come through programme approval and review, identifying actions from these recommendations. Issues carried over from the previous academic session should also be included in the Continuous Improvement Plan for AY 2016/17, as should issues identified within external examiner reports which require further action.

Subject External Examiners Audit Trail – for the attention of all collaborative provision programme teams

Programme teams should append to the Continuous Improvement Plan the Subject External Examiner reports on the 2015/16 academic session, including the programme team’s response to the issues raised in the reports. The response from the programme team to the issues raised in Section M of the Subject External Examiner’s report should be recorded within Section N of that report, and the completed report should be returned to the Subject External Examiner after consideration at the first scheduled programme committee meeting following receipt of the report.

Award External Examiner reports are also considered by the programme team but a formal response from the programme team on issues raised is not required. A response to the comments made by Award External Examiners is the responsibility of the relevant Faculty Executive Group.
