Day One:Christ’s love for His disciples; read John 13:31–38
- According to John 10:11 and 15:13 and1 John 3:16, what is love’s highest expression?
- How was Jesus’ death going to bring Him glory? (See Romans 8:3, Colossians 2:14, and Hebrews 2:14.)
- In verse 34, Jesus commands His disciples to love one another. How can we practically do that? (See Ephesians 4:32 and 5:2, and Hebrews 13:2.)
- What will people conclude about us when we love others?
Challenge: Name other practical examples of showing love to others and give Scripture references for them.
Day Two: Christ’s preparation for His disciples;read John 14:1–3
1.What two commands do you see in verse 1, and why are those commands comforting?
2.How do Jesus’ words in verse 2 comfort His disciples? Do His words comfort you today?

Day Three: Christ’s proclamation to His disciples; read John 14:4–6
- From verse 4, where was Christ going? (See John 7:33 and 13:1, 3.)
