FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE
JUNE 2017
June 13th, 14th and 15th have been established as single session days with student dismissal at 12:25 p.m. June 16th will have student dismissal at 9:45 a.m. Final exams will be administered in the morning, with two classes tested daily.
The exam schedule is as follows:
Monday, June 12* Period 7 (Seniors Only) and Period 8 exams (Everyone)
Period 7 exam 9:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Period 8 Exam 12:25 p.m. – 2:25 p.m.
*June 12th follows a modified regular day schedule with these exams inserted.
Tuesday, June 13 Period 1 and 2 exams
Period 1 exam 7:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Break 9:45 a.m. – 10:20 a.m.
Announcements 10:20 a.m. – 10:25 a.m.
Period 2 exam 10:25 a.m. – 12:25 p.m.
Wednesday, June 14 Period 3 and 4 exams
Period 3 exam 7:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Break 9:45 a.m. – 10:20 a.m.

Thursday, June 15 Period 5 and 6 exams
Period 5 exam 7:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.

Period 6 exam 10:25 a.m. – 12:25 p.m.
Friday, June 16 Period 7 (9th, 10th, 11th) and Make-up exams
Period 7 exam 7:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Break 9:45 a.m. – 10:20 a.m.
Announcements 10:20 a.m. – 10:25 a.m.
Make-up exam 10:25 a.m. – 12:25 p.m.
Make-up exams are to be scheduled from 10:25 a.m.–12:25 p.m. on Friday, June 16th. Additional times, if necessary, will also be available for make-up exams on Monday, June 19th. Students will be responsible for their own transportation for make-up exams.
Bus transportation will be provided that week based on the final exam day schedule. Buses will pick up in the morning at the normal time and depart CHS at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. However, on Friday, buses will depart CHS at 9:45 a.m. Transportation will not be provided for students wishing to leave after their first exam or wishing to arrive for their 10:25 a.m. exam. Again, transportation will not be provided for students staying for make-up exams.
Students who have a study hall during the scheduled exam period are not required to report to school during that period. However, if a student reports to school for their scheduled study hall, he or she is to report to the Library/Media Center for a quiet study.
If your child is going to be absent during the week of exams, it is extremely important that parents/guardians notify the office. Any student not taking a scheduled exam will receive a zero unless the absence is excused, due to an extenuating circumstance, by the office that day.
