Overview of directorate

Breast Cancer Now has a Scotland office, based in Edinburgh and we are Scotland’s leading charity dedicated to stopping women dying from breast cancer. Our aim is that by 2050, no one will die from breast cancer.

Health is a devolved issue and many decisions about breast cancer in Scotland are driven by Scottish-based organisations. So by having a dedicated, physical presence in Scotland, Breast Cancer Now can champion the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer including access to medicines for everyone affected by this devastating disease.

The Scotland Office has a Director for Scotland and hosts staff working on Scotland policy and campaigns, PR and media and fundraising. Staff based in Scotland also link with scientists in Scotland who are funded by Breast Cancer Now and have a close direct relationship with supporters based in Scotland.
