The brief presentations of the group projects are evaluated on the basis of the following items:
a. Was an overall description of the project site included in the presentation? or did the group provide some background or their motivation for why they chose the question they did?
b. Were the question(s) studied, stated clearly; and did they make sense?
c. Were the methods used explained clearly?.
d. Did the design of the experiment(s) and the method(s) used make sense for the questions asked?
e. Were the data shown, consistent with the question asked and the design of the experiment?
f. Were the data analyzed/plotted in a useful manner?
g. Were conclusions stated? Were they consistent with the original question(s)?
h. Was the presentation loud enough? Were the graphics used clearly displayed?
i. Overall how did you like this presentation?
j. Did you learn something new from the presentation?

For purposes of this evaluation the number rankings have the following meaning:
1 = very unsatisfactory, very incomplete; 2 = partially accomplished, somewhat incomplete; 3 = mostly accomplished, mostly complete; 4 = well done, fairly complete; 5 = excellent, concise yet thorough, very complete.
