Spelling & Handwriting
Mrs Robinson spelling group – CEWs Walnut children must write out the Year 1 Common Exception Words (CEW) in their best handwriting at least once at the front of their homework book. This will be the final time Miss Jones sets these spellings for Mrs Robinson’s group – they are very important for writing and all of you have made huge improvements so far!

Walnut children must write out the silly spelling sentence in their best handwriting at least once at the front of their homework book. On Friday, Miss Jones will dictate the sentence and Walnut children will be scored on the words (spellings) in bold.

Reading
Make sure you read three times a week to earn your bookworm. Bookworms are usually checked on Wednesday, please make sure you hand your book in for checking and changing!
Maths
Maths scrap books have been handed out and are due in next Monday so you have this week and the weekend to complete them.
