Young Business Leader Grant

Border Trust is delighted to announce a new community investment partnership with the Albury Northside Chamber of Commerce which is Good for Business l Good for Community.

SPECIFIC GRANTING AIMS

In 2015, the ANCC and its members wish to support the Albury Wodonga community by providing opportunities to encourage emerging young business leaders to continue to live, work or study in the region.

GRANTING FOCUS

Consideration will be given to individuals who wish to develop their skills and opportunities through:

  • Workplace Training
  • Mentoring
  • Education
  • Leadership Programs.

GRANT AMOUNT

Maximum individual grant: $2,000.

ELIGIBILITY

Current residents of Albury Wodonga aged between 18-35years

A young business person, professional, 3rd / 4th year student [University, TAFE] or with a Diploma/Advanced Diploma.

You are able to show a vision for your industry.

REQUIREMENTS

If successful, you will be required to:

  • Meet the terms and conditions under the Grant Agreement
  • Acknowledge the support of the ANCC and Border Trust in any printed material and publicity regarding the funded project
  • If requested, provide a progress REPORT
  • Provide a satisfactory acquittal as outlined in Grant Agreement.
  • Be available for media and website purposes as requested by Border Trust and ANCC
  • Attend the BigGIVE, Border Trust’s annual grant showcase event.

APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Please contact Border Trust to discuss your request and obtain an Expression of Interest (EOI) form or (02) 60513 349
  • EoI’s for projects commencing 1.1.16 to be submitted via email by 5pm Wednesday 30th September 2015
  • Successful applicants will be advised in personand awarded their grant at the BigGIVE, 5.30pm Thursday 26th November 2015.
