  • Reduced Snopass rates for multiple/vintage sleds is on hold
  • June congress discussed
  • Integration still being discussed

b)GROOMER MAINTENANCE – Ken Stacker

  • Outstanding pump leak – might be an O ring ; nothing else to be done
  • Will block up groomer and drag as per usual
  • Email received from Don Shaw of Prinoth. Norm told him to forget about a groomer for now
  • Don Shaw suggested there should be lots of groomers at June congress and that we should go look at them
  • Ken and Darrin to discuss viewing groomers at Congress. Likely that anyone can go see them outside in parking lot
  • Ken has been looking online, there are many vendors and many types of groomers, old and new
  • Norm got a call from Hydro and they discussed issueof guide wires on trails

c)TRAIL MAINENANCE – Darrin Kania

  • Barb inquired re the process for re-opening closed trails and it is the same as when we open the trails initially
  • Darrin will pick up signs once not frozen – likely next weekend
  • Isabelle will indicate all trails closed – had done it only in a narrative to-date

d)MAINTENANCEBUILDING–Board

  • one of the thresholds from south door is ripped off, likely from groomer/drag, Ken to fix and re-weld

e)GROOMER - Norm Brunel

  • Have groomed roughly 1,100 kilometers to-date
  • Have been asked to extend our trails to fill in a missing link from Hillside rd and Hwy 59 on west side of 59 in the ditch going south in front of Birchwood , in front of our groomer building to Belair Rd; across Belair Rd going south and end at North Star trail. This connects with trail 50. Would not need to cut trees and it would likely only be about 15 kilometers. We would need a cat for rocks and a grader to level.
  • Will first of all raise this at ERSA for them to bring to Snoman
  • Ken will contact ERSA to get on agenda and present our proposal for this addition

f)ADVERTISING CORDINATOR – Ginny Beauchemin

  • Need to address complaint received from Traverse Bay Corner regarding expected exclusivity of advertising. Ginny and Barb to address.

g)MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR–Hartley Pokrant

  • Comparing with Snoman’s list
  • Hartley to discuss with Snoman the issue of the extra work and expense associated with the Snoman cards (due to FIPPA they can’t provide info to a 3rd party (the snowmobile magazine) without permission.) Snoman says they need authorization. Our applications request authorization so should be good enough. Will also need to address the discounts that the card provides
  • 5- 6 emails bounced back when agenda was sent so Hartley will follow up on this.
  • Need to ensure all volunteers get into data base for coverage

h)WEBSITE ADMINISTRATOR - Hartley Pokrant

  • Will put up Poker derby photographs on website but first need to ensure have right names for each photo. Will check with Kevin before posting

i)EVENTS COORDINATOR – Kevin Storry
