Table Presentations include:

Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry:Ruth Kinney will give information on healing touch training which uses a curriculum that emerges from our Christian tradition of prayer, the laying on of hands, and anointing with oil modeled by Jesus as a major part of his ministry. It incorporates modern-day healing techniques that flow from our early Christian roots.

Honoring Choices: Annette Langdon, from Fairview, will share information and materials for promoting Honoring Choices in our congregations.

Live Well at Home: Live Well at Home helps older Minnesotans and veterans live well longer in their own homes. By working with local area agencies on aging and community-based providers, Live Well at Home offers risk screening, education, professional consultation, and a broad range of solutions for living at home successfully. Live Well at Home also supports family caregivers so they get the help they need as they coordinate and provide care.

Befriender Ministry: Barb Schwery, National Befriender Ministry Executive Director will share information about the ministry of being a listening presence. Befriender Ministry trains leadership teams from churches who provide training and support for lay volunteers who provide pastoral care through listening presence for those experiencing life challenges.

The ChurchHealthCenterResources: As the home of the International Parish NurseResourceCenter, many resources are available for parish nurses and health ministry programs. Some of these resources will be on display and available for purchase.
