Go Sisters World Series Registration

Friend of EduSport are looking for local and international organisations in sport to take part in the Go Sisters World Series and advocate for equality and more girls in sport. This unique set of events will take place on the same day, at the same time as young people from Zambia, Kenya, America, India, Haiti and many more countries from around the world.

The Go Sisters World Series has two objectives, firstly to put equality at the heart of sport and development and secondly to increase physical activity of girls by raising funds and awareness for equality in education in some of the world’s poorest communities.

The beauty of the GSWS is that it brings an international awareness to a local event and can engage girls through compassion as well as interest in sport. Funds raised will support education and sport and for as little as £60 your event can ensure at least one more young person will attend school in 2012.

To register your organisation for this opportunity to take part you must have:

•Experience in leading people, including those from hard to reach groups.

•Delivery experience of dance, sport or physical activity.

•Understanding of the barriers to participation for girls and awareness of the solutions.

•Availability to deliver your Go Sisters World Series event between 5-12th March 2012 (or before 7th May).
