Eureka College Summer Choral Camp 2016

1.  Attend all rehearsals, classes, and evening activities unless you are ill. If you are ill, you need to inform one of the directors or counselors.

2.  Don’t use your cell phone during rehearsal unless it’s an emergency situation that has been approved by the director.

3.  Play Frisbee toss during rehearsal breaks: Encouraged BUT stay on street side of the side of the sidewalk. (Too many broken windows!)

4.  Residence Hall Issues

a.  Designated place for socializing BEFORE bed-check is the first floor lounge of Langston Hall.

b.  Lights out and bed check at 11:00 PM. Stay in your room following bed check. Exhausting schedule, WE ALL NEED OUR REST. IF WE SUSPECT THAT YOU”VE LEFT YOUR ROOM IN THE EVENING….your door will be taped. If the tape is broken, you will immediately become a commuting camper.

c.  If you leave the residence hall after bed-check, you will immediately become a commuter camper!

d.  All DVD movies shown in the first floor lounge of Langston Hall MUST be either PG or PG-13. When in doubt – ask one of the instructor/counselors.

e.  External Doors: For security and safety reasons, outside doors as well as the fire doors in the Residence Hall will be locked and must not be propped open at any time.

f.  Window screens in the Residence Hall are not to be removed from the windows (at any time for any reason.)

g.  Vandalism and theft will result in immediate dismissal. Please treat the buildings, equipment and furniture with care. If vandalism occurs, those involved will be financially responsible for all expenses necessary for repair.

h.  Do not move beds, mattresses, and or furniture from any of the residence hall rooms at any time and leave all residence hall lounge furniture in the residence hall lounge.

i.  CAMP CHECK-OUT: Leave your room in the condition in which you found it when you moved in – CLEAN! Remove all waste to the large barrels on each floor.

5.  Leaving Campus. Students will not be permitted to leave campus unless parent/guardian has filed a leave of absence form. A “Leave of Absence Form will be available at registration and must be completed for each anticipated absence.

6.  Motorized Transportation: Students MAY NOT bring a motorized vehicle of any kind for use during the Camp or ride with anyone else during their stay here.

7.  All Eureka College campus buildings are smoke-free!

8.  NO DRUGS or ALCOHOL: Parents will be called to remove YOU FROM camp. Necessary prescription drugs should already be listed on your medical form submitted with your camp application.

9.  Don’t tamper with fire alarms and equipment which are for emergency use only.

10.  Law prohibits firearms, weapons, and fireworks of any type.

11.  Lost keys: $50.00 replacement charge for lost keys.Use your lanyard!

12.  Any concerns or complaints should be directed to either Mrs. Cole, Mr. Jones, Ms. Reece, and Mrs. Rock, Mrs. Henry; or Mr. Don Van Prooyen.

13.  Keep your rooms locked;

14.  You are responsible for loss of personal property, property damage, induced accident, and any vandalism;

15.  Know the daily schedule and make sure you are where you are supposed to be….when you are supposed to be. Attendance at all rehearsals, sectionals, classes, concerts, recitals and evening activities is MANDATORY.
