1.)Call to order: President Reuter. 10:01 a.m.
Did roll call of who is present and who is on the phone.
2.)Treasurer’s Report: Beth Session:$53,689.62 / $2.500.00 in checks to deposit. All industry partners and sponsors have paid. Just for conference we have $20,090.00in outstanding invoices.
Motion to accept report 2nd V.P. Darin Riney made motion and 1st V.P. Jeff Schemmer seconded motion.
3.)Secretary’s Report: Julie Pierce: no changes on minutes
Treasurer Beth Sessions made motion to accept last month’s minutes and Bonnie Dick 2nd the motion.
4.)Statewide 911 Board: Barry Ritter: Laurel Simmermeyer is her for Barry she advised that nothing for the Board at the time.
5.)APCO: Gary Bates: meeting yesterday here at IPSC. Training in APCO has nice balance. $4,000.00 as of now compared to $250.00 last year. If you are on interact mapping the state has a lot of GIS mapping to add. If you had a state park they already have it mapped as a layer. Contact Kelly Dignan to load state trails/parks on the mapping.
In the training the speaker spoke on the Open door law, and access to public
records law. If someone makes a request for public record, you have to
acknowledge the request 24 hrs. But you can respond to it in a reasonable
amount of time to complete. The task. Retention records and
how long you have to keep the recordings.
March 26 there is a meeting on P25 upgrade for the state radio system.
This meeting will be announced who the bid will be awarded to.
6.)2nd V.P. Darin Riney:asked that you please use his current email.
APCO has been talking about how they do things at conference. They are Using shared 3 day pass. Submitting names who will be coming each day. It is about $50.00 per day for each person or $150.00 shared three day pass. This is saving of overtime. They are paying each person 1 day.
Beth Sessions advised that this is something we can look at in the
future conferences.
Interact has a shared system. Interface with CAD of other agencies and
vendors.Kelly Dignan advised yesterday’s meeting that they are trying to get a
grant for the state of Indiana. Info exchange data. This lets each agency share
their information that you have.
7.)1st V.P. Jeff Schemmer: only thing he has is that he will not be able to represent INDIANA NENA at the Nationals. He will be busy with his new building and cad system training. Bloomington is going Live with cad early October, should be in center early May/June.

9.)Central Region V.P. Terri Bennett: nothing
10)South Region V.P. John Hendrix:his agency has completed first 90 days of the new central dispatch. Busy.
11) At Large V.P. David Rosenberry:they have gone live
911texty both ways.
12) Commercial V.P. Lori Forrer/Bonnie Dick: both have
conference stuff
13) National Report: Rob McMullen:National Conference in Nashville. Get your hotel rooms. Opened up 3 more hotels. Rooms they are going very quick. Was at Missouri NENA conference last three days. Brought back info on how they are doing things for their conference. 911 goes to Washington. Carrie’s Law/ where hotels call 911 it will not go to switch board.
Vigo County has installed the inbound texting yesterday.

President Reuter advised about Bartholomew County doing the language line. Spoke about the call the county had. Spoke about the EMA Deputy Director getting together interpreters for police fire and ems. Spoke on the Plane crash that Columbus had where the caller was a Japanese female, And trying to get the information that was needed to get help.

Order Shirts sales/trinkets/for sales table/ Trina and Annie.
Rob advised that it is taken care of.
AV equipment needed for each room. Are we using NENA projector . Rob has the projector. And use the hotels sound and equipment. No projector.
Ed will be using the projectors for slide presentation for industry partners. Jennifer Haag is finishing up the slide show. Slide presentation of everyday heroes. Send photos to Jennifer Haagfor the slide show.
National Anthem: waiting on Kelly Dignan to confirm Decatur Central school.
Silent auction. Has 15 already and still waiting for somethings to be sent. David would like to split the money 50/50 with NENA/APCO.
Last year we raised about $2000. NENA is going to donate cornhole boards.
All proceeds go to Beth Sessions then will be distributed between NENA/APCO.
Program? Larry Stidham, needs INdigital full page add. Lori will have Jennifer check and get that to Larry.
Key note speaker. Larry still needs that info.
Ed went over the flow of the opening ceremonies.
Need to get ahold of Kevin Willette to be the keynote speaker.
Team work award. Grant County is going to have the Deputy that was involved in the call at the conference.
The 911 hero will be the last award that day.

Shirts logo on the sleeve of the shirt.
If people send in registration after April 1st they will not be guaranteed they will get the correct shirt size. Lori asked if we were going to take the date off of there. Rob advised we are going to take off 2014.
Lori asked if we can take off April 21-25, 2014.
Rob will send in to take off the April 21-25, 2014 everyone in meeting agreed take it off.
Lori advised that stickers will be put on the cookbooks to cover 2013.
Rob advised that there will be a printer available to do printing.
Colors for the board, industry partner, participants will be different color cards.
Price list Anne Winegardner sent to Ed.
Jeff Schemmer would like to send out blast with the price list.
Remove cook books, going to the industry partners and magnets going into packets.
Bonnie Dick advised that extra shirts be given away in the classes. One in morning and one in afternoon.
Ed Reuter showed the certificate. Everyone will be getting one. And they will need to fill out a sheet confirming information.
Look of the plaque that will be given.
Beth Sessions has the corrected info on how many attending as of today.
Bonnie Dick advised we should put it out to any law enforcement anyway.They have already sent it out to other law agencies. To come to Monday and Tuesday classes.
Things we need to get done.
Monday and Tuesday morning Ed Reuter would like to do intros for each class. Then Jeff Schemmer if Ed isn’t available, then Darin Riney.
Terri Bennett. The agenda needs to be corrected on who is coordinating the dispatcher round table will be Chris from Bloomington and Amy Long Bartholomew County.
Bonnie Dick: No rooms left at the Marriott. Added rooms to the block at Fairfield and LaQuinta. 22 rooms left for both.
Bonnie is going to ask if we can keep it open until the conference.
We have reached our quota for rooms.
Bonnie asked of Terri Bennett has everything for the banquet.
Yes and no. she is planning on 12 tables.
She will be getting everything. She needs the logo on the shirts, needs rob to get her that logo.

Conference Guide, dead line on when to go to printer. Larry Stidham advised Can go next week to the printers. Have a cutoff date.
Who printed the programs off last year, Jeff Cicillion had someone up north do it.
Staples has done the printing for the guides. We are doing it in color. Terri Bennett will be getting a quote from the printers in her area.
Jennifer advised that there are 19 pages for the conference guide.
Terri Bennett will send quotes to Bonnie Dick. Ask what is the drop dead date to get the pamphlets printed for the conference. It was asked Who is paying for the program guide. We are going to pay for them thru NENA. Prizes: Beth Session.

Ricardo Martinez works for INditgal wants to talk to dispatcher in the trenches. Within the trenches pod cast. He will have his own equipment set up to speak to everyone. We will have a spot for him set up different times. Be there all week. Can we sponsor Ricardo? $100.00 made motion to do it everyone agreed.

Moneys from action if APCO buys the items they get proceeds, if NENA buys the item the proceeds go to NENA
Motion on floor split action proceeds to APCO/NENA 50/50 unless NENA or APCO purchase the item, then they would get that proceed for those items.
