WMH - End User – How to Access Track-IT Self Service
Purpose
/ This document provides step-by-step instructions for how to logon to Track-IT Self Service, submit a work order, and review all existing current or prior work orders.Logon
/ 1. Double click the “Track-It Self Service” Icon on your desktop, or open a web browser and navigate to: http://wmhtrackit/TrackItWeb/SelfService/Account/LogIn?ReturnUrl=%2ftrackitweb%2fselfservice2. Enter your username and password.
3. Click logon.
Enter a New Work Order
/ 1. Click the button “Enter a new Work Order”.2. Brief Problem Description: Complete the brief problem description. Pre-face with a 2-3 digit abbreviation of your department followed by a brief description of your reason for contacting I.T.
3. Call Back Number: Provide a callback number. (Note: Track-IT will attempt to auto-populate this for you.)
4. Department: Select whether this work order pertains to Information Technology or Plant Operations. (Note that Telecom issues should be flagged as Information Technology.)
5. Details: Copy and paste the text from your Brief Problem Description. Add and detail any additional & relevant information.
6. File Name: You can browse to upload an attachment to the ticket.
7. Submit: To submit the work order, click the submit button in the bottom right corner.
View Existing Work Orders
/ 1. On the left hand menu, click on “My Work Orders”. The work orders displayed are only the ones for which you are the requestor.2. Navigate through the Open, Closed, and All Work Order tabs as needed.
3. Click on any work order to view detailed information. (See example of detail for WO 10984.)
