3rd Joint Turkey-Japan Workshop on Polymeric Composite Materials will be held at Kyoto Institute of Technology, Kyoto, JAPAN on 6-7 July 2017. The objectives of the workshop are to establish and enhance collaborations between scientists and engineers working on polymer based composite materials in Turkey and Japan and to provide a forum for the exchange of information and experiences in composites in both countries. The workshop will consist of technical oral and poster presentations, special lectures and exhibits. Scientific presentations and discussions at workshop are focused in the following areas:

· Synthetic and natural fibre/filler based composites
· Fibre reinforced polymer composites
· Composites for automotive applications
·Nano phase integrated composites
· Design, manufacturing and evaluation
· New developments in manufacturing techniques
· Fatigue of composites
·Additive manufacturing / · New and innovative textile preforms
· Evaluation techniques such as acoustic emission
· Structural health monitoring of composites
· Green and bio-based composites
· New characterization techniques
· Thermoplastic composites
· Modeling of composites
· Macro-micro mechanics of composites
